Trust & security

How Veriscore protects your data.

Three things are true about how scoring and matching actually work — not marketing claims, the real mechanics behind the product.

1

How scores are computed

Candidates cannot set their own score.

CV analysis and quiz grading run on the server, not in your browser. Nothing a candidate's device sends can change the result — Firestore's own access rules block a direct write to a score field, so the only way a score reaches the database is through Veriscore's own grading function.

2

Sensitive data stays separate

Ethnicity is never part of your public profile.

Where a candidate provides it, ethnicity is stored in a private record kept apart from the profile and matching data recruiters see. It is never shown against an individual candidate — only ever folded into an aggregate, and only under the rule below.

3

Minimum pool size

No breakdown below 5 candidates.

A diversity breakdown for a job's matched candidates only appears once at least 5 people are in that pool. Below that, Veriscore shows nothing rather than risk a breakdown narrow enough to point at one person.

What we don't claim

Veriscore doesn't currently hold SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar third-party certifications. If that changes, this page will say so and link the actual report — not before.
